Who can attend the Audi Trackside Show & Shine?

The event is open to all Audi owners and enthusiasts. All Audi vehicles are welcome to participate in the Show & Shine display. 
When and where is the event being held?

The Audi Trackside Show & Shine will take place at Taupō International Motorsport Park on 7 November 2026 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
Is registration required?

If  you wish to display a vehicle, registration is required to attend and participate in the event. If you are planning to attend as a spectator, no registration is required.
Does it cost anything?

There is no charge to attend, please just be sure to register. Audi will be providing free coffee and pastries, plus spot prizes!

There will be a merch store if you wish to purchase something.
Can I bring my family and friends?

Of course, guests are welcome. No registration is needed for guests.
Will food and drinks be available?

Complimentary coffee and baked goods will be provided during the event.
Is accommodation available?

Apply our special rate code GAUDC at the Hilton Lake Taupō for 15% off the best available rate at your time of booking.
Is this event a part of the Audi track experience?

No, this is a separate event. However, you welcome to view the event from one of the viewing platforms.
Are there any requirements for the victory lap?

All drivers must:

  • Be 21 years or older
  • Hold a current, valid full driver licence
  • Present their physical licence on the day (copies or provisional licences are not accepted)
  • Take a breath test 
What is the victory lap?

Registered attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary victory lap of the Taupō International Motorsport Park circuit before departing. This is a controlled parade lap, not a competitive driving session.
Do I need to sign a waiver to participate in the victory lap?

Yes. All drivers wishing to participate in the victory lap will be required to sign an indemnity and liability waiver before entering the track. Drivers who do not complete the required documentation will not be permitted to take part in the victory lap.
Are there prizes?

Yes. Spot prizes will be awarded throughout the event.
Will photography be taking place?

Yes. Photography and videography may occur during the event for Audi marketing and promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to potentially being featured in event imagery.
Can I cancel my registration?

If you are unable to attend, please contact the Audi team at info@audi.co.nz
Is Audi responsible for my vehicle during the event?

No. Attendees are responsible for the care, security and insurance of their own vehicles at all times. Audi New Zealand, Taupō International Motorsport Park and event organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to vehicles or personal property before, during or after the event. Participation is at the owner's risk.
